Pre-K to 2nd Grade Girls CLINIC

Our clinic is designed to introduce and foster enthusiasm for the fastest-growing sport in the United States. Lacrosse incorporates the best aspects of soccer, basketball, and ice hockey into an exciting game that develops hand-eye coordination, agility, and speed. There will be 7 sessions held on Sundays at 2:00-3:00 (2nd grade will go till 3:15)at Simons Field in Morris Plains and the cost is $100 plus a $30 registration fee for US Lacrosse which is mandatory for insurance purposes.
Learning to play lacrosse can be difficult because it requires a lot of hand/eye coordination. This is made more difficult for girls because of the very small “pocket” that is required at the older age groups. Just imagine what it is like catching a bouncy tennis ball with a tennis racket! Yes, Serena can do it but for our girls, we want the introduction to lacrosse to be as fun and productive as possible. So from now on, all of our new girls from Pre-k to 1st grade will receive a complimentary stick that makes throwing and catching much easier! Our decision is based on how US Lacrosse advocates player participation and development at the youth level. For our returning players, they can elect to receive a new stick and use it instead of the stick they used last year. We will be contacting you to find out if you would like to take advantage of this offer.
